Fitness

This week we have been doing fitness cause my teacher is tryna make us stay fit. We do all type of fitness, well not all just push up’s, cruches, planks, burpees, and more. I think it’s good for us to stay fit, we do this every morning. I feel like we are getting a little bit more fit while doing it, our goal is to improve and start to do more every day. Here is the link to my work if u would like to read it. Thanks for reading this, BYE BYE!

How To Help A Stranded Whale.

This term for the past few weeks we have been working on a poster about how to help a stranded whale. I have really enjoyed this work and it has been fun. We got to pick if we wanted to write it by hand or online, I did mine online so it was faster. Whenever you see a whale stranded you go find a clear sheet and get one person to put the water on  the whale. Always call for people that are experience, while you wait for them to get there, I have learnt lots of new things when doing this and feel really bad for all the animals in the ocean. I really hope that you liked reading this. Here is the link to my poster I made. Bye bye!

Te Taiao

This morning my class has been working on a slide show about the environment and we have all been learning new words and I have learnt quite a lot of new kupu. Here is the link to my work I really hope that you liked it. Thank you for reading my work.

Say no to plastic!

For the past few weeks I have been working on a slide show about saying no to plastic. One thing I have learnt is that the 5 R’s are reuse, recyle, reduces, rot, and refuse. I didn’t know all of them until now and I think that people should stop putting there rubbish on the floor or even in the ocean. Our animals are dying and almost our whole ocean is filled with rubbish. Here is the link to my work. Thank you for reading my work I hope you learned something. What do you think we could do to help the ocean?

Nga Mea Kei Roto I Ruma

This term I have been writing about stuff that is in a house or a room. I wrote it all in maori and the engilsh word too, and hopefully you will like it a and learn more maori words that are in a house or a room. Nga mea kei roto kei i ruma means stuff in a room, I think this book is suitable for at least 8 year olds maybe. Here is the link to my work I really hope you like it 🙂

Swimming In Term 1

This term we have been learning swimming skills. We have set goals and reflected on these goals daily to improve our swimming. When we are not swimming we are learning dry land skills which consist of the following

3 things to be safe in and out of the water – Make sure to have supervision to watch you. Don’t swim out to far at the beach. Don’t pretend to drown.

2 facts – The most drowning ages are 14 year olds, the most deaths occur at a beach.

1 thing you think YOU should remember – To not go out further then your neck cause you could get caught in a rip.

Here are 2 links to our swimming skills. And here is where I got everything from.
